After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Jim Glisson and his wife Flora settled in Eustis in 1963 and founded the original Glisson Clinic-now known as Lake Health Care Center. For over 60 years, our practice has remained dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve better health through a comprehensive, whole-body approach.

Dr. Jim Gilsson was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has served as past Chairman of the Florida Board of Chiropractic Examiners, as well as a member of both the Florida and American Chiropractic Associations. In addition to his medical career, he served the community in the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate from 1968 to 1978. his legacy of care continues to guide everything we do.

I just saw Dr. Victor Torres at this location and I had a 5 star experience. All of the staff is very kind and the x-rays can be done in house and on the spot while you are there, which is so refreshing. Dr. Torres was a very kind and compassionate listener. I truly appreciated his understanding, knowledge, and willingness to help with my PPK ( skin disease) on my feet. Normally doctors are so rushed and it feels like a chop shop experience, 1 after another, but not here. It’s the 1st time I can say that I found a very good doctor with a great team. I highly recommend this place.

Great Chiropractic Dr but the foot Dr next door who shares his office, in my opinion is awful. In my opinion, seemingly hurts your foot worse during exams. Talks about surgery need even before sending you for exray after yanking foot back and forth so hard! My injury was much much worse feeling after leaving. I would never go back to that Podiatrist but the Chiropracter there is intelligent, compassionate and does not have you return more than necessary and never seems to hurt you so you must return more.
